	1938年8月8日、ニューヨーク・ブルックリン生まれ。本名コンチェッタ・ロザリー・アン・インゴリア。高校時代はレターメンのトニー・ビュタラ等とフォー・モストというコーラス・チームで歌っていました。ＴＶドラマ「ハワイアン・アイ」のクリケット・ブレイク役に抜擢され、毎回劇中歌を披露して、そのキュートな歌声で世の男連中をとりこにしました。シングル「シックスティーン・リーズンズ」は全米３位を記録。ワーナーの看板スターとなりました。アルバムはスタンダードが多いけど、シングルはバラエティに富んだポップス。キャロル・キングにP.F.スローン、バート・バカラックまでこなす。女優としては映画「パームスプリングの週末」「二十歳の火遊び」「底抜け楽じゃないデス」「セックス・シンボル」などで好演。1963年にジェームズ・ステーシーと結婚。

				There Goes Your Guy （浮気なボーイ・フレンド）	2:33	Tipton - Cole	バック・コーラスとの掛け合いが聞ける、前衛的な曲です。プロダクションとしては、かなりチャレンジしたものではないでしょうか。
		64	WB-5425 （WB P-1758)	They're Jealous of Me （恋のジェラシー･ゲーム / ジェラス・オブ・ミー）	2:39	Gerry Goffin - Carol King	これもキャロル・キングとゲリー・ゴフィンの黄金コンビによるグレートな一曲。例にもれず、素晴らしい出来栄えです。1982年に日本のCMに登場してクローズ・アップされ、翌1983年にはこの曲をひっさげて第12回東京音楽世界大会にも出場しました。60年代には未発表でしたが、来日記念盤として「シックスティーン・リーズンズ」とのカップリングでシングル発売されました。

				In My Room （イン・マイ・ルーム）	2:37	Paul Vance - Lee Pockriss	ヒット・メイカーのヴァンス＆ポクリスの作品です。ウォーカー・ブラザーズのヒット曲「孤独の太陽」として有名です。

				She'll Never understand Him (Like I Do) （彼は私のもの）	3:30	Jackie De Shannon - Randy Newman	かのジャッキー・デシャノンとランディ・ニューマンによる共作です。スローからロマンティックに盛り上がります。日本盤シングルのジャケットではタイトルにミス・プリントがあり、"Him"が抜け落ちています。
		70	BELL-922	Keep Growing Strong	3:16	Linda Creed - Thom Bell	タイトルこそ異なりますが、スタイリスティックス（1971年）で有名な"Betcha by Golly, Wow"「ゴーリー、ワウ」です。この奇妙なタイトルは、「うわー」とか「神にかけて」とか訳されてるようです。たくさんのアーティストにカバーされている名曲ですが、実はコニーこそがオリジナルです！　このシングルの両面を、作者でもあるソム・ベルがプロデュース・編曲・指揮しています。
				Tick - Tock	3:08	Walter Marks	A面にも劣らない魅力的な曲です。タイトル通り、時を刻むようなビートの利いたテンポのよいサウンドです。ゴージャスな演奏も素晴らしいです。
		71	BELL-992	LaLa Means I Love You （ララは愛の言葉）	4:07	Thom Bell - William Hart	この時代を反映した、どこかサイケでメロウなフィラデルフィアR&B作品。デルフォニックスの1969年の全米第4位のヒット曲で、ソム・ベルの楽曲です。カタログにも載っていない幻のシングルです。
				I Don't Know	4:12		こちらは少し元気が加わったポップ・ソングに仕上がっています。このシングル両面が、写真右側のデンマーク製CD"The Ultimate Collection !" (TeenAger 619)に初収録されました。
		72	BELL-45,234	Simple Girl	4:18	Graham Nash	グラハム・ナッシュの"Simple Man"がオリジナルですが、スローにして、演奏もカントリー臭さをなくし、まったくタイプが異なるバラードに仕立て上げました。これがコニー？と耳を疑うような、声の感じや歌い方にびっくりします。最後の"Alone"の直前のブレスが、とてもセクシーです。
				Take Me Back to Roses and to Rainbows	2:43	Kim Carnes - Mike Settle	穏やかなムードで始まり、徐々に盛り上がる、ドリーミーなバラードです。作者は元ニュー・クリスティ・ミンストレルズで、1981年に「ベティ・デイビスの瞳」の大ヒットで有名となるキム・カーンズ。この頃のキムは、映画「バニシング・ポイント」や、アーチーズのようなアニメ「シュガー・ベアーズ」で作曲の才能を発揮していた時代です。このシングルは両面"Simple Girl"のデモ盤のほうが多く出回っているので、このB面はめったに聞けません。
