Miyuki Morimoto was born in Tokyo and graduated from the Kunitachi Academy of Music and completed a two year post-graduate Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music with Vera Rozsa OBE. Miyuki Morimoto has won many prizes for her singing, including the "International Young Concert Artists Competition of Royal Tumbridge Wells" (UK) and the "Viotti Singing Competition" in Vercelli, Italy. @@

![]() Miyuki Morimoto has a very busy career on the concert platform and has given recitals throughout Europe, United States, She sings regularly in Japan where performances have been broadcast by NHK FM Radio, Tokyo FM Radio (this was a recital tour of seven major cities) and RKB Mainichi TV (Mitsui Home Special New Year Recital). Recent Oratorio and concert performances have included "The Seasons" with the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, "Magnificat" with the Takefu International Festival Orchestra, "The Creation" with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, which formed part of a tour of North America and was broadcast by CBS TV. She has given recitals for the Sony Music Foundation, for the British Council at the "UK Fair 98", and for "Unique Duo" with flute and harp. October 2000 |
